The Get Krystal In Smash Project should officially end tomorrow morning. This is your VERY LAST CHANCE to send me signatures. I have 15. I want at least 50. If you want to help get Krystal in Smash, follow the instructions here.

Here’s the rough draft of the first page of the letter I’ll be sending Nintendo. I’m looking for suggestions and critiques. I’ve got all the formal stuff handled, this is just the body of the message:

As you are most likely aware, Mr. Masahiro Sakurai had a request form on the Japanese side of smashbros.com. While many of my fellow fans and I made a large effort to send our requests through that channel, we don’t know how much of an impact we had, if any. None of our requests were placed in the “featured requests” area. So, this letter is the secondary part of making our request known.

Krystal, from the Star Fox series of games, is a fan favorite. Her popularity is undeniable. She won “Biggest Heartthrob” in the Nintendo Power Awards 2002. She is the central topic of several online forums and websites. There are well over 1500 fan arts of her. She is one of the most famous new Nintendo characters since the launch of the Gamecube.

We feel that Krystal’s addition to the character lineup of Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be a great investment. She will provide a unique move-set with her staff and psychic abilities. As a popular character, she will stimulate sales and play of the game even among those that had previously never played a Star Fox game (those who heard about her popularity through the internet). Of course, her inclusion will also make her fans happy.

On the next page, I have attached a list of names and signatures of fans who request Krystal be included in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is not a complete list, but simply those who had access to a scanner and took the time to send them to me.

We would appreciate if you could pass our request along to Mr. Masahiro Sakurai and those developing the game.
