Just days after the Krystal in Brawl leak, Alésia Glidewell has removed the information from her website, leaving a hole in its place. Fortunately, because I knew this would happen, I made a backup. Click here for the PDF version of the page, made just hours after the leak was revealed.

Only an idea, but maybe she learned that she had given out a lil too much info on Krystal being in Brawl, since we had seen this. Idk. But I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Krystal will at least be recognized in Brawl, even if shes just a plain trophy.

Regardless, all I can say is that it’s about time. this is the best news aside from the whole Sonic in brawl thing, but that’s beside the point. Krystal’s always deserved a spot in Smash Bros. since her debut..all that’s left now is to hope that she’s an unlockable and not an Assist Trophy.
I’m somewhat concerned over the result of the removal. If Nintendo found out and it was them who ordered the removal, things could look bad for Miss Glidewell…
Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it seems a little suspicious that Nintendo took so great an interest in such a simple faux-pas. Maybe I’m reading too much into it or having wishful thinking, but it seems like Krystal might have a bigger role than just an assist trophy, if mentioning her before Knuckle Joe and, more importantly, Zero-Suit Samus is any indication. Oh well! Damage done, and we’ll see what happens.
Either she just realized the leak itself and removed it before getting in deep trouble, or Nintendo told her.
Even though the latter could be because of breaking a non-disclosure agreement (not sure if those apply here anyway), I really doubt that they would say “She was leaked, let’s remove her” in the event she was planned as an actual character.
Odds are it just was a “You are revealing too much information, remove it for the time being.” She was just probably adding it for her curriculum in advance (maybe she was looking for something else). Whatever the case, we’ll see and hopefully she is indeed in a playable character.
I’m pretty sure Nintendo will be concerned, but I also would like to believe that she won’t get into too much trouble for what seems to be a simple mistake.
more than likely that she won’t. perhaps she didn’t realize she gave too much information in advanced, and they reminded her about some sort of non-disclosure policy about upcoming games.
