Hey guys, I know all about the leaks going on. I’m watching them myself with great interest. I don’t mind if you send me updates and leaks you find, that’s great actually. However, the chances of Krystal being a playable character in Brawl haven’t changed one bit. No-one knows for sure, at least that we can tell. If she’s playable or not, it does no good two worry about it. Worrying about it will not change anything.
And take comfort in the fact that she will be in the game in some, yet unrevealed, form.
PS - Why has no-one brought up these possibilities:
1. Downloadable characters?
2. The rumored “35th character” Wolf O’Donnell could have been a fake model that was used to throw the leakers off, since they could potentially change the model out for Krystal, or some other character, at a later date, with only a minimal number of people knowing about it.

Yeah. You’re right. Let’s not despair. After all, 35 is a nice, rounded number and neither of the other Smash Brothers games had nice, rounded numbers, so why not 36 or more? After all, Sakurai keeps iterating: “We’re going all-out,” and maybe the month-delay is for an America-exclusive character or two? Guess we’ll see.
Hurray for speculation. I didn’t even believe the leaks that came out today until I saw video footage.

Yeah. I, uh, believe that’s real. And if you click onto the side where it says ‘90 photos’, you’ll get some good shots of the game. Honestly I don’t mind and all since I’m only interested for Krystal, but just a warning for those who’s curious enough to click on anything that’s on the page and don’t want to have the game spoiled.

Wolf has now been unlocked and confirmed. I don’t like to be a downer, but this is the nail in the coffin for a playable Krystal :(
Wrong.
That was said about Ness a few weeks after Lucas was confirmed (and with the same words: “nail in the coffin”). Almost everyone thought that Lucas was replacing Ness. That turned out to be wrong, as Ness was confirmed two days ago, if not yesterday.
Just because Wolf is in Brawl (and I won’t believe that until I see a video of him), DOES NOT mean Krystal is deconfirmed (see Ness vs Lucas above).
My point: You can’t speculate that a character is deconfirmed just because a different character from the same series is confirmed before she is.
The ‘you have unlocked everyone’ screen has been shown, 35 characters is the lot, Krystal is out, it’s all over. -.-
Why did the last have to be another goddamn starfox character besides her? I’d be less mad if it was at least someone from another franchise.. not a evil-fox-clone who’s never even been out of the cockpit in a game.
By unlcoking Wolf and the already known others, the game announces all characters unlocked.
NO!!! Don’t give up on Krystal!! She STILL has a chance to be in Brawl! Besides, it’s said that Krystal WILL be in Brawl, and we will wait until the day has come.
Only as an assist trophy or in a cutscene or two galaxia, expect nothing more… and if that’s all she is, then the whole leaked info being removed thing was unnecessary and misleading.

Wolf is cool, but surely Krystal would have been a better option? She could have had a unique moveset, having a staff and all. Wolf has nothing in the star fox franchise to make him unique.

Surely they could have cut out a mario character or two aswell. I mean come on, there are way too many mario characters! I know it’s a nintendo game but come on!
Just relax, people. We all know final rosters can be faked. If you care to look at all the other goods in the game, my friend sent me some screen shots. All I have to say is this:
1) Remeber how Mewtwo took 20hrs to unlock? I doubt the punk who got there hands on the game early has had that much time to play since he has been leaking info.
2) We know she shows up in the game somehow, which means we are not crazy.
3) We can be sure pwn anyone with Fox who uses these “lesser” characters if the worst is true.

I knew Wolf would be a fox clone.Are you happy now Wolf fans? I would have been happy with only two star fox reps then having Wolf in.poor Krystal is going to be an Assist Trophy when she should be the one playable.

Wow. That’s just a little disappointing. Wolf? One of the problems with Smash Bros. is that it overrepresents certain franchises, so why put in another clone when Sakurai himself said they wanted to avoid clones? I can understand returning characters, but…a new character as a clone? If you’re gonna’ overrepresent, make the character have an original moveset. I thought the landmaster was cool when they announced it for Fox, but now for Falco and Wolf too? How lame is that?
Whatever. I’ll just try out various characters and see how I like ‘em. I’m sure the game’s badass enough to help us get over this disappointment.
Oh, and I still won’t believe it completely ’til I see a video of it, but it isn’t looking good.
Great job, Nintendo. You obviously ignored every vote for Krystal, and denied the fans what they REALLY wanted, by adding a 2ND Fox clone that got far fewer votes than Krystal. Great effing job.

=/ that stinks i was hoping for her to be a Playable charachter well im probably going to be playing as Fox, Metaknight, Sonic, Snake, WW Link, Mario, and ROB
And on another note, I’m not liking the whole “downloadable characters” idea, to be quite honest–I’m not waiting two months after Brawl’s release and paying Nintendo a small fortune just to play as the characters we wanted in the first place.

Who cares if she is? I wanted to play as her, not use her as an item that stays in the fight for about 30 seconds maximum. And she probably won’t even have any new dialogue now–it’s probably just gonna be recycled clips from Assault or something.
The problem I have is that I can’t get online to download characters. Guess I’ll have to take my Wii to another friends house to download.

Ya know Nintendo can really make a person angry. They probably dont even look at our plees that we want krysal in brawl. Besides who dosnt want krystal in (I know there are people that hate her but thats because shes a furry). I can name 4 things about her that would make her a playble character. 1 we need more girls. 2 she whould kick butt with her staff if shes a playble character. 3 WE NEED MORE STARFOX CHARACTERS! You know I have to agree with MICKMYMICK1. He/her made a good point about krystal, furry haters, and nintendo! But I think he/her went a little over bored with getting rid of a few mario characters, but then again true. Who wants peach in the game she has horble moves and I should know that because I have ssbm. And most of the characters have the same move sets as ssbm. So ya why not have krytsal in brawl.
