Tansunn went to a furry conference last week called FWA. He informed me that a Krystal fursuiter was there. I did some research and found that Scry, one of the hosts of Clawcast, had commissioned the fursuit be made by B3 Productions. Scry has agreed to an interview already, so we’ll be working out those details. Below, you can find a montage of all the video I could find of the fursuit in action!
PS - Flain, another host of Clawcast, commissioned a Falco fursuit, but it was apparently not ready in time for the convention.

I think they didn’t spend much time on the circled
Hah. That’s terrible. Makes me laugh, though.
@S. Weltzin
Keep in mind that it’s not possible for a human being to look exactly like the Krystal from games. This is a well made suit for the current technology available.
@ Mr. Krystal
No, I agree with Weltzin. It’s obvious that whoever made the suit took a random wolf costume and painted it blue and white. The head doesn’t look remotely feminine. It also gives me shivers to think there’s a guy inside it. >_
@Glitcher
Such negativity.
1. That’s the fur’s normal color. It wasn’t painted.
2. It was made by a professional, but not perfect artist, who choose not to deviate too far from previously available head shapes. However, the suit is still custom.
3. It’s a freakin’ girl inside there! What makes you assume that Scry is a guy?
Mmm… Must be hot in there.
Who’s the punk dancing with Krystal wearing the Ireland shirt? He’s moving in on Fox’s territory. :P
Yeah… Mr. Krystal is right. It’s definatly a girl. Just the way she dances kind of hints.
@Mr. Krystal.
Pardon. I guess I spoke so as to be misunderstood. By “terrible,” I meant that it’s funny. I don’t know the first thing about fursuit construction, so I’m not going to make a judgment either way on that.
Despite being a self-professed furry, I never did take fursuiters (or any cosplayers for that matter) seriously, so when I see one of a character I like I chuckle to myself because it looks silly to me.
There is (to my best knowledge) not one suit that can perfectly match her, and there might not be one ever. But you still gotta give them credit for at least trying.
Well. I suppose the person who made it did their best. I guess it could be better, but to be honest, I actually like it, and I have to agree with those who said a Krystal suit couldn’t match Krystal from the games perfectly. You have to admit, that’d be pretty hard.
Fur always makes costumes look bulky. Maybe if they did body paint, with a mask and fake-tail, the results may turn out better.
But that’d take out the purpose for the whole ‘Fursuit convention’, wouldn’t it? :/
@Xenixian
LOL, turns out, someone already went the body-paint route, a long time ago. Kat the Leopardess, who was interviewed here, dressed as Krystal last year:

@Everyone
Some things to keep in mind:
1. No matter what it is, it could be better. No-one is ever finished learning how to be better at anything.
2. This was a large effort on several people’s part. The suit cost a little under $1000 and I have no doubt that the artist put their heart and soul into it.
3. Artistic criticism is good for the improvement of technique. Saying something sucks is unhelpful.
I tried to make a fursuit of my character in time for a convention. It’s really bloody hard to get one made it all, let alone look good. (see the link to see how it turned out)
I live in north east England, and getting the matirials is difficult, and even what you can get is very low quality. I understand that america is better for supplies, but the cost of importing, I could have the suit custom made and shiped. : /
I often find it strange how cosplayers are seen as cool, but fursuiters are seen as freaks.
Overall, I have to say it’s not the best fursuit I’ve seen, but that’s a bit like saying “Starfox is the best game, so nothing else is worth playing”.
If you really want to know how hard it is not only to build, but to wear these things, just ask.
Also, one thing I forgot to mention. If you are seeing a guy in a suit. Your either a pedant, of the wearer is doing a bad job. It’s like watching team america, but looking at the strings all the time.
Well… I’m not to much into cosplay myself. I do like that of the bodypaint version. The girl did a nice job but I think a more exact color is needed plus a new body. She was in no shape to resemble Krystal. I’d be ok with the whole thing if someone could make a pretty good artisticly attractive head design.
@Mr. Krystal
That was a very interesting link.
And I agree with what you had to say.
As I said. I liked the suit. Wasn’t 100 percent perfect, but yeah, that doesn’t make it bad.
Another thing I’ve noticed. Everyone usually does a Krystal Cosplay as her Adventures version. I’ve never seen anyone do an Assault or Command version {yet}. I wonder how the results would end up as.
Fursuits??? And I though I was weird. It looks cool though.
opps, *thought
@Ayama-Chan
You’ve never heard of fursuits?
O_o Werid,whoever made that suit should try better.
Darkknight
I’d like to see you do any better.
That was funny, lol ^_^.
@Darkknight
They are. They are in training and always will be. They are artists.
Do you have any constructive criticism for them?
I have some constructive criticism for them, since there seems to be a lack of it.
1. The suit’s fur looks too bulky. It looks as though the artist took some wool off of a sheep, dyed it the closest blue to Krystal’s fur, and slapped it on the suit; needs more of a fur look to it, as in defined strands of fur. You can see the ‘armor’ pushing down on the wrist fur at 0:22 and the ankle brace compressing the fur at 1:00…I don’t think it’s supposed to look like that.
2. The head and facial features kinda looks like a hybrid of a dog and cat more than a fox.
3. The tail doesn’t ‘poof’ out enough. Furthermore, because it doesn’t fluff out enough, she doesn’t have the three tail wraps on her tail.
4. It seems as though the artist(s) tried to put her tattoos in the wrong places (arm) and are not that noticeable (thighs).
They may be other things added to the above list, but the four said, to me, are the most noticeable.
@Mr. Krystal
No, sorry Mr. Krystal, this is news to me ^^;.
@Ayama-Chan
Wow. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of someone who either is a furry or knows about furries, but didn’t know about fursuiters. It’s THE most hyped part of the fandom, even though most furries don’t actually fursuit.
@Mr. Krystal and Ayama-Chan’s conversation
Blame CSI for that. “Fur and Loathing in Las Vegas,” I think is the name of the episode. Makes me mad sometimes to think about it, but only because it’s portraying an actual part of the community and none of the positive aspects.
@S. Weltzin
I specifically went out and watched that episode a while back. Except for the whole death thing, I found it extremely funny. I laughed a lot. Probably because none of it was true.
@ message 22
No no no.I was just stating my oppion.I’m not a bad guy you know.
I think he looks funny
