Krystal Recreated in Spore
As you may know EA released Spore Creature Creator recently. Because of the way Spore’s creation system works, nearly any type of creature can theoretically be created, though perhaps without correct proportions. Just today, not one, but two people have let it be known that they created a Krystal creature.
The first was made by rofltiger. He sent me an email directly and is working on a video.
He also sent me a short video.
Update
He sent me a new version that hopefully you all will like a little better. Be aware that this creature is “nude.” But then, none of the creatures have clothes as far as I’m aware. There are no naughty bits. Nevertheless, click at your own risk.

They look a bit odd, but I acknowledge it’s a monster-making game.

They’re really scary lol, but it’s not really made for humanlike characters anyway :P
I think it’s good though, it’d be cool to see what other people’s attempts are like, it could become a phenomenon. :O

That’s it. I take back every negative thing I said about Litte_Dragon’s Krystal model. It’s like molten gold poured over my eyeballs compared to this. >_<

You should be complementing these models. Spore was specifically created to not allow human-like or earth-based creatures.
Now if they could add some sort of hunting mod for it. Huhu. I’m suprised also to see it have…near human like builds but if they just added it anyway in the game.

as I said when I initially sent the pic, this is a work in progress, and I’m going to keep on trying to refine it. I think the updated one I made is looking better. Guess I’ll take it as a challenge to keep working until I get something that you guys actually don’t find to be ugly…
I just wanted to see if it was indeed possible to make humanoid characters in Spore, as well as if it was possible to make look-alikes of other popular characters from other places.
in that regard, I feel I was successful. Would anybody else like to take up the challenge and try to make a Krystal-like race of creatures in Spore? I’m curious to see what other people could come up with.
I didn’t like Little Dragon’s model either but compared to my Spore attempt it’s awesome, I like it a lot more now, plus he made it from scratch :o
I made a Falco before attempting the Krystal but it failed epically :D
I might edit the Krystal into Fox or something too, I’ll post it on the forums if I do.
