Civil discussion on the Internet?! How is that possible? Blasphemy!

Well, heck. Had I seen that posted, I wouldn’t have said anything. Sounds like you already knew to be civil about things. My apologies.

Whaaaa?! Where did that come from? I didn’t mean your comments weren’t worth anything. I just meant that you ought to keep things civil. Arguments are fine, but don’t put the other person down when you’re doing it.

Also, PantherHater used, what is called in rhetoric, a “red herring,” where s/he set out an emotionally-charged issue to distract people from the main one, which is dislike of Marcus. It went like this: “Everyone loves babies, and if you say you hate Marcus, then you hate babies, you sick baby-hater!” Of course, the reality is that people might have other reasons for disliking Marcus, and there are two pictures of him: one as a child, and one as the leader of the new StarFox team, where he’s an adult. I still dislike Marcus for various reasons, but that doesn’t make me a baby-hater. Instead, I just dislike his character design and what the implication of a son of Fox McCloud and Krystal could mean, which is the dramatic deaths of either or both of the two parents. Think about most fantasy/adventure/sci-fi: How often do parents of heroes survive? Answer: Not often. Harry Potter’s parents are dead. Fox’s parents are dead (maybe not his dad…that’s still ambiguous). Frodo’s parents are dead. Bruce Wayne’s parents are dead. Peter Parker’s parents are dead (I might be wrong about this one, but why is he living with his aunt and uncle?). I think you get the idea. It’s a very common theme, and putting Marcus in charge of StarFox makes Fox and Krystal irrelevant at least and expendable at worst.

And for the record, Ayama came by to complain once again about the fact that at least 98% of the fans support Fox+Krystal when the most recent AMV was posted. She may not be outright bashing people lately, but from what I’ve observed, she still criticizes the pairing’s existance whenever she gets the chance.”

And she still bashes on F&K support even my artwork that said Krystal McCloud
While her response was CARUSO I’ll never learn to support Panther in any kind of way
And probably lose great respect for Krystal if she fell for that male chauvinist pig
Also look Ayama: “Because a lot of KrystalxFox supporters are becoming PantherxKrystal supporters. There are more of us than you think. Becides … look at Marcus … do you really want that to happen?”
She’s talking about Marcus as if he’s some sort of weird object…
She shouldn’t disrespect Marcus if she would ever call herself a Krystal fan
Since Marcus is Krystal well at least her pride and joy since that’s her’s and Fox’s son
The response to her post PantherHater: “Command doesn’t have good graphics if Nintendo went with great artwork like Adventures Marcus would turn out just like Fox except smaller, cuter, and more baby like if you have no respect for babies and which everyone use to be one then you really don’t have a life”
I completely agree with him bashing on a innocent baby and a furry at that is sad for Ayama…
