Nanogrrr contacted me recently and ask if I wanted to host his Grand Theft Auto: Vice City mod where he replaced the main character with Krystal. Free download with instructions!

    There is a AR code out there but so far the code only works on a specific version of SFA. I tried the codes with my version of the game (Which is the launch version) and sadly the code locks up the game. Now if only they did a code for Assault that let you play as Krystal in single player mode as well.

    I have something weird with this,
    the read me says you need to edit the file gta.img, but I don’t have that file
    only a gta3.img (and that is the only .img I have)
    it does contain the files but I can’t delete the originals,
    as it says there being used

    You have to turn off the read-only state on the gta3.img file (alt+return) same thing to do with the folder /models

    Launch img tool and do a research (F2) of player.dff, CSplay.dff, CSplay.txd.
    If any of thoses files miss add the ones provided or in backup.
    If it still don’t work, put back the CSplay.dff and the CSplay.txd backup files into the gta3.img file (get cinematic tommy back)
    If it still don’t work, replace in the gta3.img, the player.dff file with the one in backup. If the game still don’t work with
    the tommy models put back in the game, is that another file than the concerned ones could have been deleted by error.
    Duplicate files in the img file can bring troubles too.
    Maybe you have the deluxe version, or the direct2download version… This one have been tested with the retail version.

    @foxofinfinety I got the same problem. Try to choose new Game without loading her skin. My Game is working than with her modell. The while playing change her skin.

    I can launch GTA-VC.exe so I can’t choose new game,
    as I don’t even get the splash screen of the game

    I have the retail, but maybe it’s still different,
    as I live in europe it’s a PAL version so that may be the problem

    but it is possible my virusscanner/firewall thinks the krystal model is a virus
    as it’s different than the file used to be
    I think that may be so
    as, since I installed it, Mcafee keeps saying:

    only, SIntFNT.dll doesn’t seem to be in the game
    but I get this every time I try to play the game

    SIntfNT.dll is a securom 2 related file,
    It can happen if you change the GTA3.img.
    I don’t know how securom works,
    but you should do a reasearch on google on how to fix it.

    I think I have the same problem, when I load the game, the game can’t continue because an error (“exeption”). I returned the gta3 original file and it worked (with the Tommy model), but when I want to use the mod, it can’t continue. :(

    The error says “unhandled exception at address 0048944c” The Krystal model perfectly appears when I go to “player options” and she appears, but when the game loads, that message appears and the game closes itself. :(
