GreyFireFox’s Krystal Rig 1.4 Available

With help from rhyfe2002, GreyFoxFire has made the final version of the Krystal Rig, version 1.4. There are lots of new features and improvements here. As always, the rig itself is available, as well as a fantastic showcase video.

Trying to catch up with my huge backlog of Krystal fanfilms, I’m going to post a bunch all at once. Hope you can handle it!

This one is pretty epic. Could almost call this a trailer for the Star Fox series that focuses on Star Fox Adventures and Assault. Still, technically it’s a FxK video. The ending is just a few select cutscenes from the two Gamecube games.

Yay! It’s another speedpaint! Cute, simple Krystal pic colored and shaded before your eyes. Aww, and look, it’s baby Tricky! Er, maybe it’s another EarthWalker. Tricky wasn’t purple.

Awesome stuff is happening with the two talented 3D artists Greyfirefox and rhyfe2002. They have teamed up to make the ultimate Krystal model and animation rig. All kinds of lighting effects, realistic fur, facial animation, reflections, motion blur, and many other features. The version 1.2 rig is being worked on now and should be available soon. Meanwhile, I have a new video and several smashing renders to show it off. Enjoy!

Three Fanfilms

Here are three fanfilms I found last night (trying to make my way though my backlog, thanks for being patient). One of them is a speedpaint!

It’s another Krystal speedpaint! This one is a bit different, because she starts from scratch. It’s not just a painting of an existing image, she draws the wireframes and everything. “SummerTime SpeedPaint” is by starfoxfangurl11.

Krystal Mall Animation Test

Move over kitten-falling-asleep-while-standing-up, there is a new world’s cutest video in town! This is a short, well animated Krystal animation featuring a top-of-the-line fur renderer and one of the cutest voices I’ve heard in a long time.

Greyfirefox sent me this yesterday and I just had the opportunity to post it. You can watch it in 720p resolution on YouTube, and in a bit (whenever I get more time), I’ll post the original video for download.

Star Fox X Preview

RickyRay102 is working on a Star Fox action-drama show called “Star Fox X.” It’s flash-based and takes some inspiration from Dragon Ball Z, it appears. This is the preview for the first episode, and shows promise, if RickyRay102 can make sure to keep working hard on it. WARNING: Krystal bleeds a lot in this video.
