With help from rhyfe2002, GreyFoxFire has made the final version of the Krystal Rig, version 1.4. There are lots of new features and improvements here. As always, the rig itself is available, as well as a fantastic showcase video.

Two of my favorite things… Krystal… and My Little Pony. Seriously, Krystal works well as a pony. She already had the cutie mark on her hip. This is a custom My Little Pony/Krystal figure by thatg33kgirl. Sadly, it is not for sale.

Yep, I’m a brony, have been since January. Just haven’t had the time to mention it. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you must! It’s SOOO AWESOME!

Krystal Life-Size Doll

doodman2 created two life-size Krystal dolls. This is the first full-size Krystal ever made to my knowledge. The inside of the doll has a frame that allows her to be posed realistically and stand on her own. The dolls are 5 feet tall, the fur made of fleece.

Lots of dislikes on his videos, but you gotta give him credit for the effort. I view this is a good first step to more detailed Krystal statues and dolls in the future. Your guess is as good as mine why he made two dolls, though.

The first video shows a bunch of photographed poses. The second video is a stop-motioned video of her saying many of her lines from Star Fox Adventures in Saurian.

New Krystal Plushie

Krystalbochum1 recently sent an email to Mr. Krystal and brought this to our attention.

An artist by the name of Yutaka Yumi who likes to make furry related plush dolls for commissions has recently created a doll of Krystal! This particular Krystal plushie commission cost $150 including shipping. Yutaka Yumi is open for commissions and accepts paypal payments.

Awesome stuff is happening with the two talented 3D artists Greyfirefox and rhyfe2002. They have teamed up to make the ultimate Krystal model and animation rig. All kinds of lighting effects, realistic fur, facial animation, reflections, motion blur, and many other features. The version 1.2 rig is being worked on now and should be available soon. Meanwhile, I have a new video and several smashing renders to show it off. Enjoy!
