inky84 sent me an image a few months back of his progress toward making a Star Fox 64-style Krystal. He’s continuing to work on it, and eventually might make a Dinosaur Planet Krystal.

Just received this morning, the long anticipated Adventures Krystal model by Gadonstriom has now been released! You can download it here.

The inevitable has finally happened! Those crazy dedicated Brawl texture hackers have created a Krystal texture. It was done by ZeonDude, who says he will be working on the modifying the vertices of the Fox model over which the Krystal texture is made to make the body shape itself look like Krystal. Wow, this is old news, but I JUST heard about it. Krystal was ranked #10 in the “Top Ten Babes Who Are Out Of Your League” by GT Countdown. Unlike the list back in September, GT Countdown actually has their facts correct in this one.

Krystal in Top Ten of “Ladies in Leather” by GameDaily. Nice to finally see Krystal acknowledged in a list of video game women (previously restricted to humans, or human-like species). The problem is that almost everything they say about Krystal is wrong. Oh well, I’ll take what I can get.

For the first time, someone other than the original poster of the code has gotten the “Replace Fox with Krystal” code to work, and explained in detail his process. GammaRay256 explained his technique in a post on Starfox-Online. He’s asking for other’s help in figuring out more about the code.
