Bunch of stuff happened, both personal and related to the site, that I will have to explain in more detail on the podcast. Though there are still lots of things going on, I’m attempting to better manage my time. Tonight I will get you some updates, though on what subject, I’m not yet sure. The next podcast will probably come sometime next week. Thanks for being patient guys!

Saurian Translator 7 Beta

I’ve been working in my spare time to learn how better to use Javascript. I’ve applied that learning to the Saurian Translator. Couple that with my research into Saurian pronunciation being about halfway done, and it’s time to show off the beta. There’s a full description on the demo page of what’s new, and what’s yet to come. Please tell me what you like and dislike about it. Note, I haven’t yet tested it in all browsers, so if something breaks, please report it (and provide screenshots if possible).

This website is now under my care. I have … dealt with the previous owner. Now, Krystal’s true intentions will be fully explored. Krystal can only be with me, Panther Caroso. It cannot be any other way!

Kursed Halloween by Glitcher

Glitcher sent me a wonderful letter today, expressing sympathy for my difficulty with real life. He sent me something that brought a giant smile to my face.

Thank you SO MUCH, Glitcher! Though I think I would keep the site up for a long time even if all other fans had gone away, it’s the fact that there are people who use and appreciate the site that makes the maintenance a joy to do. *happy tears*

Sorry, got a little emotional there.

Anyway, looks like Krystal’s getting into the holiday spirit! Check out the words on the gate arch. Clever.

On Hold

Once again, and hopefully for the last time, I must regrettably withdraw from the internet temporarily. I simply MUST finish my thesis and it is taking too long. I’ll be removing myself from all social activities, pretty much. So, that means that new Fanart, Fanfilm, Podcast, and news items (unless it’s like uber important, like a new SF game) will all have to wait. I’m looking at possibly one month for this. Please check back every week or two so you know when it’s over. Later guys! I’ll miss you.

aaaaaaaaaand we’re back! Sorry about that. We’ve been offline almost all day. I found out about a problem with the podcast system. I had to completely replace the entire site because of it. PLEASE tell me if you find anything wrong!

I’m trying to redo how the podcast works, because I no-longer want to work with Odeo. I also plan to record the podcast tonight. Sorry I’ve been gone everyone.

Spring semester is totally over, including all related work. There’s still the summer semester to go, but now I will be less busy, probably from now on. So, with that, I will be updating with more updates and more frequently. I am currently organizing some news, so the first new post may not be until tomorrow. Thanks for all your encouraging words! I’m back.

Personal Updates

Sorry I haven’t been posting a lot lately. I have been busy, but that goes without saying. What’s new is that this is the end. I’m graduating soon. Graduating with a master’s degree in Computer Science. Actually, I won’t TECHNICALLY graduate for another year, but I AM going to be walking with my class in a couple of weeks. The final projects are really adding up. I have a final exam tomorrow. I am hoping for a really high score on that one. There’s a final presentation I have to make with graphics next week, then two programs to finish by the end of next week. Finally, our game has to be completed basically by tonight, presented tomorrow and Friday, and turn it all in with a bunch of other stuff on Friday. So I’m not out of the woods yet.

What should you take away from this? I won’t be updating again for about another week. I’ve been wanting to make the new podcast episode for a while, but can’t quite yet. I also have lots of updates to do, news to post, and emails to respond to. Please be patient. I’ll get it all done soon.

My summer won’t be as busy, but I will be doing a tough project class, writing a thesis, and trying to get a job. So even the summer might have fewer updates. However, the good news is that once I get a job, my weekends will be almost entirely free, as will most of my nights. I’ll be able to get into an update rhythm, where updates are more steady.

The Krystal Archive has been online for three years as of today. Thank you all for coming here, posting comments, and enjoying the site. It’s a pleasure to do it. I’ve updated the badge on the top right to mark this joyous occasion.
