Like in episode 28, episode 29 will be recorded live, so please stop by to watch, listen, and chat with me during the show. I plan on doing it this Saturday (January 21st, 2012) at 1PM Pacific (4PM Eastern). We’ll be on TinyChat as before. At the end of the show, and perhaps during, I’ll take questions from the chatroom. I may also do audio chats with listeners too, we’ll see.

The podcast is live now, though I won’t officially start until 1PM (about 10 minutes). Please join me for chat. I’ve got a video and audio stream ready, and you can text chat in real time with me. New Krystal Archive Podcast: 1PM Pacific time, Saturday 11/12/11

That’s the plan anyways. I’m so excited to do another podcast again. It’s been so long.

The podcast will NOT be on Skype due to its limitations. I’m still investigating what software to use, but at the very least, I’ll have live audio and a live chat session so you can ask questions and such on the podcast as it happens. Please be here early tomorrow too. I’ll probably be setting up all morning.

Oh, and if there are any particular topics you’d like me to cover, leave a comment.

Skype Podcast Test?

EDIT: Ok, shut down now. We did some tests and Skype is not going to do it for us right now. I’m thinking we’ll still do a live show next weekend on Saturday (say 1PM Pacific time), but I’ll stream via UStream and set up a text chat room. Getting an audio conference set up that allows me to control it in a host/guest way is a little more than Skype can handle.

Hey everyone. I’m here on Skype right now (Sunday afternoon), and I’d like to figure out some of the technical details of using Skype for podcasts. Will everyone with a Skype account who is interested in helping please get online and connect to me? My username is “mrkrystal”. Please email me your username so I know who you are, or just post it in the comments if you don’t care who sees it. When we get in contact, I’ll add you to a conversation called “Krystal Archive Podcast” and we’ll do audio once we get that all worked out.

Podcast Stream Date?

I’m thinking about doing the next podcast, Episode 28, the Saturday after next (November 12th, 2011) in the mid-afternoon (Pacific time). I looked at several options, and Skype conversation call seems to be the way to go. More specifically, everyone should be able to listen and chat, but only those I allow will be able to do audio chat with me, so it works as a host-guest system pretty well. Does that sound like a good plan? What about the date? Is that good for everyone?

aaaaaaaaaand we’re back! Sorry about that. We’ve been offline almost all day. I found out about a problem with the podcast system. I had to completely replace the entire site because of it. PLEASE tell me if you find anything wrong!

I’m trying to redo how the podcast works, because I no-longer want to work with Odeo. I also plan to record the podcast tonight. Sorry I’ve been gone everyone.

New Stuff

I have built yet more scripts to help shave hours off the process of getting new fanart sorted and formatted. They’ve saved me a big chunk of time, and now I’ve finally finished working with the last 3.3 month’s worth of fanart. There are a stunning 458 new Krystal fanarts this time, resulting in a new total in the main list of 4403! By the time you read this, I will have already updated the main list with the new art. You’ll also notice that the next couple of posts before this are the new fanarts. WordPress can’t handle that amount of text in a single post.

Also, I’ve recorded the next podcast, and we have a super-secret (not THAT secret) special guest interview. I just need to edit it together. I might do that tomorrow now that fanart is completely done.

Finally, I know about Mew Mew Rocky’s Krystal Cosplay. Due to time problems (see above), I wasn’t able to make her page before I posted fanart of her in her outfit via this new batch. But don’t worry, I’ll get around to that soon too.
