As you can see, the control-scheme is based entirely on the “joystick” and buttons, which should make controlling things far better than Command, good though its controls were.

Yep. Star Fox (or rather an Arwing flying out of the 3DS screen) made only a passing appearance, as just “one of Nintendo’s franchises” that didn’t necessarily have a game in development.

For the first time, someone other than the original poster of the code has gotten the “Replace Fox with Krystal” code to work, and explained in detail his process. GammaRay256 explained his technique in a post on Starfox-Online. He’s asking for other’s help in figuring out more about the code.
