From what I understand of the article, for 300 yen, you receive a kit for all of the vehicles in the image below, and then you can build them yourself. I’d love to purchase these at some point.

Didn’t spell Krystal right, but from what I understand, Krystal is called Crystal in Japan anyway, so maybe not.

It looks like it will be a very exciting one, with announcements of Nintendo’s next console, lots of new games, and tons of rumors to confirm or squash. What do we know? Project Cafe will be there, playable by visitors. I expect we will see more talk of Star Fox 64 3D. It’s due out next month in Japan (you can already order it) and we’ll probably get a US release date too. There have been rumors (where have I heard this one before) that Nintendo is-working-on-a-console/will-announce-a-launch-title Star Fox game! No telling if those rumors are any good, they’ve been around forever. Then again, Star Fox and F-Zero are due for a new game, having skipped this console generation (the Wii).

In specific SF643D news, Miyamoto says that it will have essentially two methods of play that can be used in tandem: the analog stick and the gyroscopic sensor. From the description, it sounds like we’ll be able to use typical SF64-type controls or use the gyroscope functionality in much the same way as Command used the touch screen (though hopefully a bit more naturally). New images were released, showing close-ups of Fox and crew, as well as the box art. Unfortunately, we now know that it won’t support online play at all. This significantly disappoints many. I’m not terribly upset, as I’d only end up getting beaten by all of you anyhow. :P

One last bit of E3 rumor that might involve our fair blue vixen: rumors of a launch-ready Smash Bros is in the air…

In addition to allowing players to fly the Arwing with the gyroscopic sensor (think Wii Motion Plus), the game is said to be “newly-arranged.” I’m not sure what he means by that, but it sounds like it could be anything from the new graphics we know about to a change in the story (which could open the door for you know who). Keep an eye out for more updates on this title, and the rumored new Star Fox console title.

Everyone seems to be calling it “Project Cafe.” Many high-ranking sources have said some of the same things, so if anything can be believed, we will see the next Nintendo console at E3 in June. At least one place is talking about a new Star Fox in early development for the Wii successor, but no known date that we’ll see it. Whatever happens, looks like E3 is going to be very interesting this year.
