Krystal 64 Rig by The Regressor
Months ago, Wreckingcanon had an question: What would Krystal have looked like if she had been part of Star Fox 64? He decided to do some research. He talked to artist Alain J., and they worked out some turn-around concept art. He then found The Regressor, a 3D modeler and rigger who specialized in making N64-style models. Lacking funds, he couldn't complete the project. He offered the concept art and information to the Krystal Archive for funding. After the project was completed, King-Jion helped with making accessible versions of the rig. The final result is the download available below.
When working with The Regressor, we made a few decisions about the design. First, Krystal would have an extra prop, a blaster in this case. Additionally, we went with the sleeveless variant of the concept art to show off her shoulder tattoos.
