Star Fox Adventures Videos

Star Fox Adventures has many cutscenes featuring Krystal. There are regular Story Cutscenes where Krystal is advancing the plot as a playable character and moments where other characters discuss her. Event Cutscenes can occur in any order and happen in response to a gameplay event like finding an item. A cheat code for ActionReplay will allow Krystal to replace Fox in some cutscenes.

Story Cutscenes

A Girl Named Krystal

The first cutscene of the game, where a little of Krystal's story is revealed and Krystal loses her Staff while being attacked by General Scales' Galleon.

Boarding the Galleon

After Krystal defeats Scales' Galleon, she boards the ship to explore. She bids farewell to the CloudRunner helping her.

General Scales Confrontation

Krystal finds the key to Krazoa Palace and returns to the CloudRunner baby who she spoke to earlier. General Scales appears and shows some brutality towards the baby. Krystal tries to help it, but Scales throws her overboard. The CloudRunner who transported her there catches her and they continue on towards the distress signal.

Krazoa Palace

Krystal discovers that the distress signal originated from the Krazoa Palace. Krystal lands there and enters the temple.

The Dying Guardian 1

Krystal finds a guard inside who is dying. He tells her that Scales had attacked the Palace. The Krazoa Spirits are hidden in the shrines, protecting them. He begs her to find and return the Spirits to the Palace in order to stop the war.

The First Krazoa Spirit

Krystal completes the first test and the Krazoa enters her body so she can transport it to the Palace when she leaves the Shrine.

The Dying Guardian 2

The dying guardian sees that Krystal has returned with the Spirit. He tells her to release the Spirit.

It's You!

As Krystal releases the Spirit, an unknown figure looks on from behind a pillar. The Krazoa sends a beam out into the middle of the Palace. Suddenly, the figure jumps up and shoves Krystal into the beam, sending her flying into a newly-formed crystal. The crystal rises to the top of the Palace and the released Krazoa circles around the contraption imprisoning her.

Obtaining the Staff

After General Pepper tasked the Star Fox team with fixing Sauria, Fox lands and finds Krystal's Staff where it had fallen from high above. When Fox pulls it out, Krystal's recorded voice calls out from her Staff explaining how to use it.

Staff Combat

Some SharpClaw appear and Krystal explains that the Staff should be tested in combat.

The Staff's Master

After Fox's show of combat skill, Krystal's Staff plays a final message telling Fox he is ready to use the Staff. It also gives Fox some information about upgrading the Staff in Spirit Caves.

Help Me!

When Fox recovers and returns the first of four SpellStones to its rightful place, a Krazoa Spirit appears to him and explaines that Krystal is trapped and will die unless the rest of the Spirits are collected. The Krazoa allows Fox and Tricky to hear Krystal crying out in great pain. Fox decides to help out.

She's Beautiful

When Fox eventually gets a Krazoa Spirit and teleportes to the Krazoa Palace to release it, he sees Krystal for the first time and immediately becomes enamored with her.

Aren't You a Friend of Krystal?

On Dragon Rock, Fox releases the CloudRunner who had helped Krystal get to the Krazoa Palace. He asked about Krystal before explaining his capture after leaving her at the Palace.

Releasing the Final Krazoa Spirit

Fox releases the sixth and final Krazoa Spirit, leading quickly to Krystal's release from captivity and the revival of Andross.

Krystal Released

After Fox returns all of the SpellStones and receives the final Krazoa Spirit from General Scales, Fox releases the Spirit. Unfortunately, through Krystal, Andross revives. Krystal is released from the crystal and Fox saves her with her own Staff. Krystal makes a futile attempt to stop Andross, while Fox boards his Arwing and flies after him to continue the battle in space.

Thank You

With Andross defeated, the Star Fox team celebrates aboard the Great Fox. Krystal boards the ship to personally thank Fox for saving her. Fox becomes immediately embarrassed around his friends. However, Fox is happy to see her again. Fade to credits.

Event Cutscenes

Obtaining an Item

The same cutscene plays no matter what new item Krystal picks up, so here's one for a Dumbledang Pod.

You Have Failed!

Failing the first Krazoa test, the Krazoa Spirit exclaims "You have failed!" and you must restart the Shrine.

Krystal Death

If Krystal looses all her energy, she dies. If you have a Bafomdad, she can be revived.

Fox to Krystal Cutscenes

A special InstantReplay code can, in very specific areas and conditions, allow Fox's model to be replaced by Krystal's model, allowing Krystal to perform some of Fox's cutscenes. These are often glitchy and silly, but certainly fun to watch.

Outer Krazoa Palace Warp (F2K)

Krystal warps to and from the Krazoa Palace's outside warp.

Warped to Krazoa Palace (F2K)

Krystal arrives at the Krazoa Palace for the "first time," noticing Tricky has not accompanied her through the warp. Due to an emulator issue, the wrong audio file plays during this cutscene. When the emulation gets more accurate, this video will be re-recorded.
