Looking at the descriptions of the prizes. I can’t tell who is doing the collectors edition prize XD. It talks about watching the play through (abdallah) but then he sais the prize is handed out by prima game? I don’t know where to go D: ahhhh

I think i’ll by an original copy next month. Along with another game or two.
I’m being tormented!! Last night had a dream I saw Krystal in a Star Fox animation and I got so excited yelling out Krystal in my dream only to wake up to reality. NOOOO!!!
Anyway they mentioned Sauria which means Star Fox Zero took place in the time line after Star Fox Adventures. So Krystal hasn’t joined the team yet.
Oh yea a little later into the dream I say Krystal wearing a wedding dress. I got so hyped!!
@LucasJG1994
“they mentioned Sauria which means Star Fox Zero took place in the time line after Star Fox Adventures”
How did you come to that conclusion? Is there any proof in previous Star Fox games that the Star Fox team NEVER went to Sauria before the Adventures conflict?
@Mr. Krystal
Well I’m just going with what the short film stated. If I had proof I would certainly show it. Slippy’s words were “It HAS been ten hole days SINCE we left Sauria” Not to mention that this video is an introduction to the game. If that video is not canon then that sentence is meaningless. Plus visiting Sauria before adventures? I doubt it, if they went before adventures Fox would have recognized the planet in the briefing with Pepper. And he would be able to speak dino language without a transmitter.
@Mr. Krystal
Unless you put Fox in the roll of Krystal’s brother which took place in the original Dinosaur Planet game for Nintendo 64 which would not make any sense. But, wait what if Krystal is apart of Fox’s family. That could change everything.
@LucasJG1994
Fox doesn’t say or indicate that he doesn’t know about Sauria at the beginning of Adventures. He also doesn’t say he does know it. He doesn’t say anything at all in regard to the planet. As for the language, I know about France, and I’ve been to France, but I can’t speak French.
Doubt it if you want, but it fits that they could have visited without messing up any continuity.
You are jumping to a lot of conclusions based on baseless assumptions.
@Mr. Krystal
Plus think about what Mr. Miyamoto said “The game is not a remake nor a reboot” This tells me that It cannot be within the timeline of Star Fox 64 since it would bring everything back to the beginning. Plus to mention Sauria in that timeline this tells me that the game had to be after Adventures. Plus with new story plots. Yea I think I got lots of proof. But don’t take my word for it, just speculation.
@Mr. Krystal
Anyway remember just my imagination. Nothing to take seriously.
@Mr. Krystal
Ok I’ve been thinking about what you said, could this mean they might bring the original dinosaur planet game for Nintendo 64 into the time line. Cause if they visited Sauria before adventures then that could be possible, right?
@LucasJG1994
He said, explicitly, it’s a ‘reimagining’. We already know it’s occurring during Lylat Wars. It’s essentially the same story, but the details of each mission have been changed, added to, and removed from, with Miyamoto adding features not possible in the SNES and N64 games. You are placing far too much emphasis on making sure that this game fits in a timeline. Miyamoto doesn’t work that way. He makes the games he wants to make, and then bends a story into the game that makes sense for THAT game, with little regard to how this might effect some overarching story or timeline.
“to mention Sauria in that timeline this tells me that the game had to be after Adventures”
That is just an assumption that contradicts known statements from Nintendo, Miyamoto, and the story of Star Fox Zero itself.
@LucasJG1994
Again, you’re trying to use what you know about to predict what Nintendo might do. Nintendo makes stuff up all the time. I can pretty much guarantee you that there are at least 3 or so working Star Fox demo games that no-one has ever heard of, because they tried something, and decided, for whatever reason, to cancel or delay the concept. The chances that they will recycle an unfinished, unpublished N64 game that’s not directly related to any of their existing game series is pretty unlikely. After all, Star Fox 2 is finished and is a real Star Fox game, but they still haven’t released that.
@Mr. Krystal
Alright I get the point. Just got my hopes up.
@Mr. Krystal
Sorry for the too much hype there. Got carried away. What you said does make sense as to how Nintendo and Miyamoto works. Anyway judging by the teleportation device used in the game we could say there could be multiple endings to the game just like Star Fox Command. What do you think?
Speaking of portals, I want to see one lead to another dimension with James piloting a Space Whale… I think something like that was a thing in one of the comments. I don’t remember the details. What was that all about again or am I losing my mind! :D
Is this “Krystal Archives”, or Star Fox Zero NewsSite? XD (I’m joking)
@Wrenchy
I post Star Fox things sometimes. It happens. Star Fox is related to Krystal, always. Plus, we only get a new Star Fox game once every 10 years! :D
@Mr. Krystal
Also to add, the whole point of this conversation is that because Sauria is mentioned, will make someone believe that Fox and the team had interacted with Krystal, making her canon. You had your arguements, but still are talking about her. So this is still the Krystal Archive.
Personaly, I’ll wait untill the game release, and then we make theories (posible they are secrets still not mentionend).
@Mr. Krystal
Right I’ve been doing some research on the internet about this and I’ve come to the conclusion that yes you are correct. Fox and his team could’ve visited Sauria before adventures. Here’s the info I dug up.
The events concerning Adventures happened eight years after the Lylat ways. The death of James McCloud happened two years before the Lylat wars and the short film stated the James died five years ago. This clarifies that Star Fox zero is taking place three years into the Lylat wars. But here’s the catch.
Since the game is a re-imagining we can say that this game is an alternative timeline. I say this because maybe the Lylat wars was delayed for three years which could explain the upgrade in tech on both Andross’ side and Fox’s side.
Plus to add to this, we don’t know how James died in this new Star Fox game. So we could expect to see maybe a different tragedy concerning this.
What do you think? And i’m not predicting what Nintendo does or what they will be doing in the future. Just want to talk about Star Fox Zero.
@LucasJG1994
If i’m correct, James died in the same way, according to the introduction of SF0.
(what you should find out is whether James is actually “dead”?)
I believe the timeline is completley screwed up. Somehow the Starfox universe is reseted and altered.
How? Well… that’s we’re are trying to find out.
Plus, what are you doing here? Shouldn’t you start heading to the shops, and buy the game?
@Jimaki
Yes that’s true, is James really dead is the question here. I’ll be getting Star Fox Zero next month since I already bought a game for the month. You’re gonna finish it without me :( lol
@LucasJG1994
Well, they also said in the short film that:
Peppy: “The Cornerian Army and Andross’s forces have been at war for years now.”
The Lylat Wars didn’t start and end on the same day. It’s implied in the Star Fox 64 cutscenes and booklet/player’s guide that the war had been going on for some time and Star Fox was finally called in when the Andross Army finally started to conquer Corneria, after having pretty much conquered the rest of the system already.
So, again, Star Fox Zero’s story fits as THE Star Fox 64 story, just told differently with different details. Where it fits in the timeline is exactly the same place as Star Fox 64’s place in the timeline.
@Mr. Krystal
So true. Thanks for the explanation there, really helped me to understand what to expect from nintendo and Miyamoto. You seem pretty experienced with this. lol
@LucasJG1994
It’s tempting to speculate, but you have to focus on what you know for sure, and what you can reasonably imply from what you know for sure. Any theories and assumptions you have must be filtered through these facts, no matter how much you wish them to be true.
It also helps to have studied and worked on games. People have a lot of misconceptions about how games are built, especially when it comes to story and what fans think. It’s very common for game developers to have no idea what the fans think at any given time. They are far too busy actually making the game to pay attention to what people on message boards think.
Nintendo just uploaded the Launch Trailer for Star Fox Zero! https://youtu.be/kexWqX34E7w
@Mr. Krystal
By the way remember that project I told you about. I think it was me making a star fox game. Sadly I have to cancel it cause of… Well you know life stuff going on. So I was wondering do you have Super Mario Maker. That was the game I bought for this month so now I have to wait next month to buy Star Fox Zero. Anyway I was thinking of making a Star Fox level with that. If you have the game though. Tell me what you think if that’s a good idea?
@LucasJG1994
Sounds like a great idea. There are even Star Fox sprites for it.
@LucasJG1994
The Joke’s on me since i don’t, even own a Wii U :P, they’re too expensive here , so i’ll probable import it or wait until the NX releases. Untill then i’ll play my 3ds and the earlier Starfox titles.
Also, make sure you post a video of your Super mario maker level here on your channel .
@Mr. Krystal
Ok I’ll work really hard on it.
@Jimaki
I’ll send the code to Mr. K once I finish with it so that he could record it and post it on the Krystal website along with the code.
Not entirely related but while on Star Fox Zero Miiverse I found a Miiverse artist who draws really nice Krystal artwork. Draws other Star Fox and Nintendo characters too.

@Mr. Krystal
Did you see this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uieM18rZdHY&feature=youtu.be
Star Fox, has been one of the only Nintendo games with a consistent time line. Now this throws that out the 4th story window! It’s like Star Fox Command was so sad for Fox, that he RESET his time line. About my thoughts on the Sauria thing. The events of Star Fox Adventures did happen earlier than they did, but the reason Krystal is not a part of the team is than the RESET erased Krystal from history, and she is stuck in a dimension between existence and non-existence. So we need Sans The Skeleton to yank her back into reality or something.
@codym512
I highly doubt that would happen besides someone from Platinum said They would Consider Adding Krystal in a sequel. and as far as Sauria is concerned, maybe the Star Fox Team went there before the events of Star Fox Adventures.
@ChickyBoy37
I was just kidding. How can Fox RESET his own time line? And Sans is a joke in himself. “Hey, bro. I got a TON of work done today, a skele-TON! Heeey!”-Sans the Skeleton.
@codym512
I kinda figured that, besides I guess all we have to do is wait and see what will happen for Star Fox.
Nintendo tends to have issues dealing with continuity in there games, they wait too long for a new game, and the best they can come up with, is a rehash of the previous games using the same story.
Star Fox Assault, and Star Fox Command are the only games that were proper sequels, anything after that is just prequels or remakes of the SNES and N64 games.
Spoiler alert! have you guys played through starfox zero arcade mode? you unlock sound test mode if you do, there you not only play music from the game but you can also see models from the game including a full body andross with a suspiciasly familier robe.
By the way I don’t see how Fox in Space works it just looks kinda tacky to me.
As for krystal I asume she’d still be traped on sauria or captured by andross.
Slippy mentioned sauria probably as a reference to a supply trip I don’t think they’ve met krystal just yet.
Someone has posted information on sales data of the series. It looks like Zero is doing just as well as Command did. With NX coming out next year I don’t see that data improving a whole lot. Not sure what this means for Krystal. Krystal’s appearance in next game was partly dependent on Platinum making another Star Fox game. If Zero is doing that badly it’s unlikely Platinum will be making another. Only hope is Nintendo.
Now I put that I want to do a Star Wars parody artwork using Krystal as Princess Leia saying “Shigeru Miyamoto you’re my only hope.” Or something like that. Not that I could do a good job at it though.
the only people who don’t like zero never played zero or seen it, they just jumping to conclutions cause they think its like command. its nothing like command and only realy plays like 64 in arcade mode.
All we know is one thing. Do I believe that we’ll get another entry in the series after Zero and likely on the NX? I do. The only thing is that we’ll have to wait for a few years before we get another Starfox game and likely on the NX. Regardless what happens with Zero, there is a fanbase which the series is popular in its own right like Mario and Zelda. So for the SF series no matter what happens, we need to continue our support on the series. I have yet to see a established IP like that from Nintendo getting killed off like that and Nintendo knows Besides, Kimishima ( president of Nintendo ) did say that he will bring many of their first party IPs on the NX like
Mario, Zelda,
Sorry. Bit of a typo there in the end and hit the post button by accident. As for what I said of Kimishima, he did say that he will bring many of their first party IPs on the NX like Mario, Zelda, Starfox, Metroid, Donkey Kong and the rest.
I don’t doubt there will be a new Star Fox game at some point. It’s the situation regarding Krystal that has me most concerned. There is a good chance that another third or second party developer will end up making the next Star Fox game. No one knows what they whoever it may end up being will do. We don’t even know what Platinum would do if they make next game. I don’t think Krystal will be removed from series entirely but I want her to remain a member of Star Fox team.
The controls are odd. Not bad controls but for a game like Zero it takes too long to learn them. For Zero be better for controls people can just jump in and start playing straight away. If the game was longer and you could slowly introduce the controls then it would have been fine. Due to how short the game is you basically get chucked into the deep end and expected to figure it out. I know there are tutorials but most will just jump into the game.
I haven’t seen anyone compare Zero to Command gameplay wise. Personally I think Zero is closer to Assault. Some missions are from Star Fox 64 but the overall impression I get from the game is Assault.
The saying life works in mysterious ways is certainly true. I guess I’ll be making that Star Fox game after all. LOL. So Who wants to see Krystal again! Of course I’ll still be making that Star Fox level for Super Mario Maker.
I would buy Mario Maker and make some Star Fox inspired levels too but I am waiting for Krystal to be added to the game. Might be faster if maybe someone started a petition to add her to the game. Of course that depends on popularity of the petition.
petitions never work you know this remember krystal for smash? or cancel metroid prime federation force? none of them worked.
Who needs petitions. Want to see Krystal? Waiting on nintendo is good if you want to sit for couple years. But if you want to see her now, then make something and put her in it. Thankfully I’m now free to make the stuff I want. So that’s what I’ll do. I’m not gonna sit for another 5 or 10 years to see if Krystal is put back into Star Fox.
In fact have you heard of the game Undertale. Rumors have it that the game is connected to the mother series with Ness. Also someone form nintendo contacted the developer of Undertale to have the game on Wii U but couldn’t cause the game was made in Game Maker Studio. So if they wanted it they had to rebuild the game from scratch.
Here’s the link: http://nintendonews.com/news/general/nintendo-contacts-undertale-creator-toby-fox/
You see. Doing something can gain attention from people even nintendo. Doing nothing gains nothing.
@LucasJG1994 This all the way. You’d make a good motivational speaker. ;)
@Axl
Thanks! My mother always told me if you want something you have to do it yourself. True it’s nice to have games made by Nintendo since they are professionals at what they do. But if they are not doing what you want them to do, don’t nag at them. That only causes more grief, simply make it yourself.
Some sad news happened i think a year or two ago where a teenager committed suicide because of seeing Itachi Uchiha from the Naruto series die. Relying too much on others doesn’t make you strong. There are times where we need help and we should accept that help, but we also need to work hard for our sake too.
The same thing is also said about Krystal. If another Star Fox game comes out and Krystal isn’t there are we gonna blame Nintendo for not putting her in there. Simply not, we don’t know the different reasons behind Nintendo’s decisions and sometimes they do things to benefit their business in the long run.
Since we all want to see Krystal it would make sense to do something to promote her. Make a music video about her, or a game. Do fanfics or fan art. Don’t be a couch potato. LOL
@Mr. Krystal
Nintendo just uploaded some Star Fox Zero Stuff on Youtube using the Star Fox Puppets! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkOWqjE6bBg&feature=em-uploademail
@LucasJG1994
Yup, it’s a win win situation really, since it’s both a good way to keep Krystal’s character alive AND to show and remind Nintendo that she still has a relevant fanbase, thus making her chances of reappearing in a Nintendo game that bit more likely. Plus it’s a good way to promote Starfox in general and maybe gain more fans for the series.
I’ve always thought making a fan made Starfox game in the snes style graphics and top down shooting would make for a cool game. Of course since its fan made, it could take place after command or assault and include Krystal, Fay, Miyu and any other character people want to see return. I’m not too knowledgeable in the copyright area, but as long as you aren’t making any kind of profit, and it’s purely for fun, fan made projects such as those shouldn’t be much of an issue with Nintendo.
@Axl
Exactly.
I was only semi joking about the petition. I am aware that unless the petition is hugely popular it won’t have any effect at all.
One of the best things about Zero has been some of the amazing Miiverse artwork that has been appearing. I really like that kind of support because it’s hard for haters to hate nice artwork.
@AngelFoxDreamer
Yes petitions can get you somewhere, but it can only get you so far. I mean look at what happened with the Smash Ballet. Surely not just Bayonetta got a lot of petitions but shovel knight, Krystal, Banjo, Wolf and so forth. Yet Nintendo only picked one, Bayonetta. So even if we managed to get a lot of petitions for Krystal it means nothing if Nintendo doesn’t do anything about it. So what can we do? Do something. I’m not saying we all need to do something huge, just do what we can do. the easiest thing to do if you don’t have knowledge on game development or music or art, is write a fanfic. There are a lot of people who enjoy this.
I’ve made videos with krystal before. although I’ve focused more on starfox theory which is just my voice and pictures.
Cosplay is always an option too but I think it would be tough to even get close to Ayano’s amazing Krystal cosplay. You can also get or pay for pictures of Krystal to be put onto clothing. I know during Hyper Japan in London Nintendo did some live streaming. So if you can get up on stage during a Nintendo live stream while wearing either Krystal cosplay or clothing with Krystal on that would be amazing.
I’ve always been tempted to do Star Fox Assault x Macross Frontier crossover of some sort. They have number of things in common and I think a crossover would work really well.
I’ve always fantasized about visiting Corneria. So Doing some art and game development is just right for me. I’ve never went to a cosplay before cause where I live don’t do that.
@AngelFoxDreamer Is your Star Fox Assault x Macross Frontier crossover a game or a fanfic?
@N J Fox That’s pretty good. You know I’ve seen videos of youtubers reading their fanfic. I listened to one quite a while back. That could be interesting.
my voice never realy sounded right on a mic never has I always felt it better to deepen my voice through voice editing software.
Although I’m a good acter I dou’ht I could do a good impression of krystal even with voice editing.
@LucasJG1994
While I can come up with ideas my programming skills are dangerous. if I were to make it a game it would be a visual novel. Which basically is a fanfic but with multiple endings and artwork to go alongside.
@AndelFoxDreamer
Well why not use the Tyranobuilder Visual Novel Studio. It sells on steam for $15 USD. A review was given for the software which says that it’s the most easiest Visual Novel Studio to use not to mention cheap. You can also use RPG Maker MV if you want to make an actual game with your fanfic, plus you can export both software to Mac, Windows, Android, IOS and Html5 Try using these that require no programming skills.
@N J Fox
You’re not the only one who thinks their voice sounds terrible. Listening to mine i think I have a babyish man voice. If you want to hear me I actually did a Strategy video on how to beat the zombie mod for Star Wars Battlefront 2 Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0uVywktBj8
My goodness what terrible talk. XO
I made a 2d shooting game in Game Maker a few years back and can further confirm its very easy to get to grips with for beginners. Might be easier to use something more suited to visual novels, but if you wanted to add different gameplay elements to it/ something generally not seen in visual novels, it’s a good way to go.
Not a big fan of my voice either. It’s so monotonous I’m surprised it’s not only animals that can hear it. Though you sound pretty awesome, Lucas, I like your accent, heh.
@Axl
You’re making me blush. =)
That video was a couple years ago. I’m pretty sure I sound far worse.
@LucasJG1994
Come to think of it, I have been doing a Fan-Fic Called Krystal’s Dream Quest.
I don’t like my voice either. I think it takes a long time to get comfortable with speaking to a microphone and hearing your own voice.
@LucasJG1994
I actually already have a free visual novel maker but that does look a lot easier. Thanks for telling me about it.
@Craig Beverlin
That’s good, has the fanfic been doing well?
@AngelFoxDreamer
Sure no prob.
@AngelFoxDreamer
By the way you can get great inspiration from the Phoenix Wright games since they too are Visual Novels. The same way they have great gameplay experience you can come up with a way to make your Visual Novels great too.
@LucasJG1994
I haven’t played that series but I have played other visual novels. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names.
@AngelFoxDreamer
Ok. So is your Visual Novel a romance game? I’ve played Visual Novels and most of them just go with that story plot. Plus i think i remember you stated that you made a shooter game, is that game complete? Cause all you have to do is put Star Fox and Krystal and boom fan game finished.
@LucasJG1994
Romance will be part of the storyline. Both Macross Frontier and Star Fox Assault have romance elements. There will be a lot of other stuff going on.
I didn’t create a shooter game. However if people wanted to team up for Star Fox fan game I would be happy to join in. I haven’t really started my project yet so if anyone wanted to team up for it or maybe do another game.
@AngelFoxDreamer
That sounds good concerning romance elements in your plots for the game. Plus, What about character creation. Since this is a fan game have you thought of allowing players experience being in the Star Fox Universe as their character?
I’ll be working on an Adventure game in RPG Maker MV, Got to get the software first though, so I i’ll be using Construct 2 for the time being.
@LucasJG1994
I thought about what to do for the main character. I think it would be too difficult and weird to introduce a new unfamiliar character to the mix. Already plenty of characters and I also don’t need a new character to explain how everyone meets up.
This site feels dead. I’m sorry.
@AngelFoxDreamer
That’s true. Well let’s see how far we can go to support Krystal and get her recognized. Who knows what will happen but as long as we are doing something, people including Nintendo will notice her.
Lets hope.
I have an idea for a short video, Two if I can get the hang of borders.
@N J Fox
I remember asking if you would do Star Fox comics. Even though you might not have the time, making these comics is great and can inspire someone else to make an animated series. You could do this on the weekends or in your spare time. Plus, you can make videos of these and add themed music to it.
I’m no good with music but animations are my specialty, comics too I havn’t made a comic in publisher in years.
@N J FOX
Well I really want to see your work. Especially your animations.
you can see my work on my google page.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/108683597287151824240.
Nintendo UK’s twitter account has been doing polls relating to Star Fox Zero. Would be a good chance to show some support for Krystal. It’s too late for the previous poll but you can still respond to the results and original tweet.
