“Star Fox” Announced for Switch 2
In a surprise-release, Nintendo just announced a new Star Fox game for the Switch 2 based around Star Fox 64 with updated visuals. I literally just found out and haven't had a chance to research this, so I'm posting this now and will update you as I learn more. For now, you can watch the livestream (which just finished) above.

They’re gonna remake 64 until the end of time, aren’t they?
Well, that, was an unexpected surprise. They’re finally making another Star Fox game after 10 long years in development ever since Zero was released. But to be honest, it’s just repeating the same story from 64 all over again, just like with 64 3D for 3DS and almost like they did with Zero. And I’m not fully sure what to say about the new appearance designs of the characters. If I had to pick only one of the 2 choices that I’m giving for which appearance design I like better, it would be the “Mario Galaxy Movie” Fox McCloud over this games designs. At least Illumination Studios’s designs are close enough to the Fox McCloud that we all know, and their depiction of Falco, Slippy and Peppy are spot on (despite only showing it for a few seconds). The mouse joy-con aim system feels similar to that of Star Fox Zero. I hope that they’re not going to do a similar process like how they changed Donkey Kong’s appearance and it will only be for this 1 game here, for this one time only. By the way, I saw how Katt looks like and she doesn’t look pink (I think), and Falco has real bird legs, which I don’t see them working out for the Smash Bros. series at all. I’m not trying to be hurtful or offensive or anything, I’m just giving my honest opinion. BTW, that new mario film was pretty awesome, but spoiler alert: I don’t think Peach and Rosalina are really sisters in the mario game series, that’s only in this movie.
Sorry, forgot to say that the character designs remind me a little bit of some of the designs from the Event Horizon fan game, and sorry if last post is too long.
