Contest: Win an Alésia Glidewell Autograph
Dark Fantasy Films is once again interviewing Alésia Glidewell, the voice of Krystal in Star Fox Assault, the voice of Krystal and Samus in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the model actress of Chell in Portal. This time, the interview will be fan driven, with the majority of questions coming from you, the fans.
That's where you come in. We need you to submit questions for Alésia. The questions can be about her work as Krystal, Samus, Chell, her other acting appearances, her films and directorial work, or her personal life. Just make sure the questions are respectful and appropriate for all ages.
After the interview, if Alésia chooses your question as her favorite, you will receive an autographed glossy print of Alésia Glidewell, customized just for you.
To submit a question, submit it as a comment on this post. Be sure that the email you use is valid. The winner will be notified via email and we will work out autograph specifics and shipping. Other blogs will be participating in this contest too, so let's make sure our questions are the best!

Would you say that the road to becoming a successful voice actor/actress to be a difficult one?
I’d say it can be difficult but with time and patience anything can be easy.
How do you get into each character? I know that it can be difficult to get into a character properly, so how did you prepare for each role?
Do you like chocolate chip cookies??
What is the best part of your acting career?
If you were given the chance to return to play one of your characters (Samus, Krystal, Chell, etc.) in some capacity, whether it’s a game or movie, would you do it, and why?
If you had the chance to be the voices to any of the charters again would you do it.
Is it just a weird coincidence that you’re part of the best games ever released, or do you have something to do with them being so amazing?
@Nick
Somebody is playing to win! :D
What exactly did your job as the model for Chell entail? Did you just show up at Valve, put on a jumpsuit, and posed while they took pictures and sketched you? Or was there more to it than that? And did you visit Valve for Portal 2, too?
(If there’s anyone who should play Chell in live action, it’s Alesia.)
Hello~ I just wanted to ask what your absolute favorite role that you have ever played, in any medium? Why is it your favorite?
Also I just wanted to say thank you for answering our questions, and for all your work that you have done. Its so cool to see what games you’ve worked on. ^_^
If Krystal, hopefully, shows up in the next Smash Bros. or Star Fox game, would you be willing to voice her again?
Of course she’d be willing to voice any of her characters again! She’d get paid, right?
How did you get into voice acting? What would you recommend for up-and-coming voice actors?
Mine is a bit of a two-fold question. From what I have heard, it’s rather common for voice actors to not watch/play what they provided the voice for, and I was wondering if you happen to have done so, and, especially if you answered not, why you feel voice actors would not view the finished product of their work. It’s something that I’ve long been curious about.
What about Krystal inspired you to become her voice actor? Did you want to voice her before or after you were introduced to her?
With the advances in cinematography now including the ability to shoot a movie entirely on digital media, some directors still prefer conventional film formats, often citing artistic choice. As a director, which do you prefer, and why?
If you prefer digital, have you shot (or would you consider shooting) a movie entirely on DSLRs?
When you’re recording your voice for a character in a game (ex: Krystal or Samus) do you envision yourself as that character to bring the voice to life?
