MMD Krystal Cutscenes
This time, SchattenKitsune666 uses MMD to animate some voice clips that didn't have cutscenes in Star Fox Adventures. The clips where Krystal says "Why did you help me? You didn't know who I was. I could have been evil!" and "Well, it all hinges on one thing. I'll only join, if you'll kiss me."

those deleted cutscenes are so cheesy no wonder nintendo cut them out.
by the way I fixed the game controls for starfox adventures 2, pushing forward on the left stick dosen’t get the runing animation stuck in a continues loop. now when you release the leftstick the run animation stops.
Game controler controls work perfectly now.

Great to see the project is taking shape.
I don’t know if this has already been posted here. I’m sure most of you have seen It, but I stumbled upon this recently and found It quite amusing. Since the KA seems to be in the MMD mood lately, I thought It’s a great opportunity to post this:

I will not tell you what It is, but It features various SF characters including Krystal (of course). The ending is not entirely appropriate, but nothing too serious (I think).
I’ve seen it aready not good.
@N J FOX
Is It because of the animation itself or something else, like the choice of music? I’m not an expert on animation but to me It looks quite decent. If It’s about the music: Well, I’m not a huge fan of this kind of music either. I’d rather see the Star Fox team perform
‘Mr. Brownstone’ (Fox on the vocals, Falco on lead guitar, Krystal on rhythm guitar, Slippy on the drums and Peppy playing base). Probably not a huge surprise to you :D \m/
I’m more conered with what the animater is doing with the models.
sounds like a missuse of them to me.
@N J FOX
Okay, gotcha now. So you don’t like that kind of stuff in general. I totally respect that. It’s one of those things you either love or hate. Since I am a musician myself (just as a hobby though) I totally enjoy seeing those characters showing off their musical and dancing skills. In SFA we’ve been told that at least Fox and Slippy like Rock n’ Roll music :D
Man, this is not what all Krystal fans wanted to see. And I don’t like the way she was a damsel in distress. Maybe she would get killed by a tyrant, and the series would start over, this time, with her being brave.
@J.T. Gillin
I think she is actually kind of brave. She was willing to safe a planet that she didn’t seem to know much about, without a weapon and completely on her own. She never seemed doubtful or even scared. If she had her staff on that galleon, Scales would have had a hard time. I mean if that thing can bring down a Red Eye…
I’m also happy that the kissing part was scraped. That would have completed the damsel thing: The victory smooch for the hero she just met. It is also the dumbest condition for her to decide whether or not to join the team. So, her new life and future are depending on a kiss? Don’t get me wrong, I’m actually a romantic guy, believe It or not, but in SFA It was way too early for that. It would have made Krystal look like a *B-word* and also being out of character even.
@Mr. Brownstone @J.T. Gillin
The thing to remember is that there was more to the story than just those two voice clips. It’s possible Krystal would have joined with Fox in his adventure for part of the end of the game, so their relationship would not have been as immediate as these two clips make it seem.
I have to agree with brownstone the damsel indestress thing dosen’t suit krystal at all yes but shes not a coward like brownstone mentioned she walsed on in to monster infested palace/labratory unarmed and risked her life to resque creatures she knows nothing about only to get ambused by andross and tricked by his krazoa servents.
The Krazoas aren’t Andross’ servants. Andross captured Krystal because he needed her to channel the power of Krazoas in order to be resurrected. The only ones duped were General Scales and Fox. General Scales was possessed and used by Andross. Fox was pretty much blackmailed into returning the Krazoas in exchange for Krystal’s life. The Krazoa that did that we don’t know for certain was a Krazoa and not Andross. If it was a Krazoa it may have been forced by Andross through Krystal. Krystal however was told the truth by an EarthWalker. Another EarthWalker actually warned her about General Scales releasing something evil in the palace.
I am hoping they do Star Fox Adventures (and Assault) remake on the Switch. Alongside new game/s of course.
@AngelFoxDreamer
The question is: How could Andross know that Krystal has the ability to channel the power of the Krazoa? The most logical explanation is that he at least knew about the Cerinians and their powers. I’m still not sure if he was the one who destroyed/doomed Cerinia based on the fact that Krystal says good things about him in SF Command. But who knows, Krystal was not herself in that game.
i feel that rare ltd. and nintendo didn’t include those lines because its seems that the end of sfa:dp, that krystal would have joined the star fox.
the evil line part, i think it was unnecessary.
Speaking of SFC, Fox dumped her, due to safety issues. And Krystal was a crybaby who would eventually betray her team.
Yeah J.T., they were both out of character in Command. I still cannot completely comprehend Fox’s decision. In Assault Fox was never really concerned about her safety. It was actually the other way around. I understand that things are different when you are ‘officially’ in a relationship, which is what apparently happened between Assault and Command. So being worried about her safety is definitely reasonable, but not to an extent where he has to force her off the team. I mean something must have happened, like a mission in which she was nearly killed. However, the prologue doesn’t mention anything like It. I think if a character makes such a crucial decision, there has to be a good reason for It. Otherwise It is bad story-telling.
Same goes for Krystal. A break-up is a tough thing for sure but considering what she had already gone through with Cerinia and the way she was able to deal with It makes her decision and behavior in Command questionable.
Correct me if I’m wrong but is her telepathy even mentioned in Command at all? It really seems like they were trying to take everything that made her unique away from her.
Krystal recognised andross when he pushed her in to the beam the krazoa used to trap her(if the krazoa were good it would have sucked krystal in and teleported her to were her staff fell) so andross knows krystals people and what they can do which is why he blew up cerrenia and after he died tricked krystal in to going to sauria were the krazoa tests his bio weapons and ordered them to set a trap for her and fox. general scales is one of androsses pawns as we all know and played a part in it. and that krazoa who spoke to fox was andross if it was a krazoa and good it would have warned fox about andross and asked him to rescue krystal another way but it didn’t it as you say black mailed him.
everything about the krazoa being good is a lie.
they make androsses bio weapons, galdon and dragor proove that you thing general scales and his band of bone head sharp claw are smart enough to make those monsters.
Take in to acount general scales had a krazoa spirit in him so it was the krazoa doing that stuff at dragon rock not him technicaly.
wow that was long.
Ok, is my turn now,
Well, from what I experience in the Star Fox games I see that pretty much the
“Classic formula” If you want to say it the following: You control Fox, flying in his arwing with his crew and saving the galaxy and stuff.
Basically if you think it, Adventures, Assault, and Command, were different in some way
-you probably know how each game differs, so I’m not going to analyze it-, but what do we need to see is how Krystal had done in those games.
Starting at Adventures, Krystal, had an intro destined a lead protagonist, but all of the sudden the game demotes her to nothing more than a “trophy” for the “actual” protagonist (personally the way she lost the staff is total Bs…). And apparently she joins team Star Fox because they saved her life (which is cliché).
At Assault, they try to spark up a relationship by trying to make them a team on ground missions -it could worked only if she could followed me during the missions, blame the AI-
At Command, Everyone is Out Of Character. Pretty much play the game and laugh with your heart at the story -try also to improvise some dialogs, it makes the game 100% funnier-
P.S. now that I thought it, if they make a Star Fox game, I want to play the story with co-op, with everyone controlling a member, it would be awesome!
