Taking a Break
Those of you in the Krystal Archive Discord Server might have seen today, but I'm feeling a bit burned out. With all of the daily posts and the huge undertaking that was the Miiverse Scrape Project, I'm just feeling tired. My hands and wrists are taking a beating. Thanks to a bit of nerve damage they need time to recover.
Reduced Posts Until SNES Classic Comes Out
Until around September 29th, when the SNES Classic releases, I will not be making many posts here on the Krystal Archive. I'll still monitor news, and if something big or time-sensitive happens, I'll post about it. I will also hang out in the Discord server. However, I won't keep to my daily post schedule and I won't do a lot of responding on Discord. This will give me time to rest, recuperate, and work on bigger projects that I've been kept from thanks to having to post something every day. Hopefully, when I return, I'll have a lot of content ready to go!
Looking for a Dedicated Volunteer
Speaking of content... You know, I could really use a helper. I have tons of content to post and stuff to research, but not enough time to do it. Running the KA is almost like a second job. I really could use a smart, dedicated helper who knows HTML, CSS, and can do basic internet research. Preferably, the helper would have a lot of free time (aka, a college student). If you're interested, please let me know. I'm only looking for one person right now, so if you apply, make sure you know enough to make a webpage from scratch. Also, you must have the dedication to pore through mountains of data in service to our beloved vixen. Email me if you are interested in volunteering.

don’t force yourself too hard, take a rest once in a while.
some doctor has to know what’s going on with you lol. Also it’s a shame i have no experience with website development. Guess it’ll have to be someone else. I hope your break goes over well.
@Falemirous
I’ve seen many doctors and physical therapists. Still haven’t figured it out.
If you are good at problem solving, you don’t strictly need HTML/CSS experience, but you might have to learn them on your own (which wouldn’t be hard for someone with good problem solving skills). Are you volunteering?
@ Mr. Krystal
We discussed this already, I already said i’ll see what i can do. But it sounds like you’d need someone better than me. I have plenty of time and dedication for the vixen but I can’t build a website from scratch lol. So i’ll throw myself in even if i’m not qualified for the job.
I’d be happy to volunteer as well, especially if I can get a reference when it comes to applying for work in my field further down the road. I am out of college, but I still don’t have a job yet. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and I am trying to get into the writing/publishing field, ultimately with a video game company like Nintendo.
Sadly, like others, I have very little to no experience with web development. I only have very basic knowledge of HTML (mostly just to italicize, bold, or underline words), and have no knowledge of CSS. So I don’t know if I am able to meet your qualifications.
That being said, I am a very good writer, and know how to do Internet research. It was, after all, a major part of my degree. So if someone is able to teach me how to use HTML and CSS, I could definitely help around, if possible.
I’m in the same boat as Falemirous. Though I have had some classes where I’ve tinkered with HTML and CSS, so it isn’t completely foreign to me. I am a college student though. So idk. I’d hate to mess something up and leave you MORE work to have to do. I would suggest looking into the others first before even considering myself. That being said, enjoy your time away from the forum and I hope your hands recovery quickly and painlessly.
