Gensou Ichida’s “Dinosaur Planet – A Case for a Remake”
Gensou Ichida, aka kokorogensou, has uploaded a video essay about Dinosaur Planet, its history, the rising interest, and the potential for a fan or official remake. The essay is made up of two parts. In part one, Gensou goes over the history of development for the game. She covers the initial creations, and public appearances of the game, as well as the transition to Star Fox Adventures. Also covered is the extensive set of assets that have been gleaned from early copies of Star Fox Adventures.
Part two goes into more depth about the needs and challenges of a remake. This includes copyright issues, art asset creation, and programming. It includes more details about hidden story elements found within the source code that could be used to direct the story of the potential remake.
With over a decade of exploration and research into Dinosaur Planet, Gensou is one of the best sources of information on the long lost game. Though this essay doesn't cover everything, it is pretty effective at summing up the whole situation with Dinosaur Planet and the realistic problems a fan or official remake would have to overcome.

aaaaaaaa bless you guys for the shout-out! i’m glad you liked the video; i had a blast working on it! ;o;
Give me some of the old models, voice clips, and 3 years I could remake dinosaur planet its basicly the same as adventures only no on rail shooting in space and you teleport everywere how hard can it be?
i don’t know about a remake, but a hd one might work (nintendo been planing to release some gamecube and wii games for the shield tv at china up to 1080p), i’m betting that they just going to look cleaner but still retain it’s 3d model polygons like how they port zelda: twilight princess and wind waker (wii or gamecube) version over to the wii u like how mario kart 8 wii u version and zelda: breath of the wild wii u version to the nintendo “switch”, is just going to look a bit clearer. for me, the “switch” is just like the wii u getting a “pro” version like the ps4 has.
nintendo doesn’t tend to remake their old games like the n64 titles, maybe if their next console in like 4-5 years from now, using nvidia geforce gtx 1080 laptop gpu (i assume home console uses that, it should be cheaper in 2021-22), hopefully i’ll buy zelda: ocarina of time remake, if it look like super smash bros. wii u’s mega man reveal trailer or final fantasy vii remake then i’ll be satisfied, even maybe starfox adventures remake too.

Oh you mean the one where Krystal rescues Fox? ‘Cause that would be better than the original, where she was a damsel in distress.
@John Gillin
I think you mean fox rescues krystal, right? i would buy it, if nintendo or rare (if they decide to broke of from microsoft or whoever the people that make this game) as long it look similar to the cgi of donkey kong’s fur in that super smash bros, wii u- megan man reveal trailer, then i’ll buy it on nintendo next-gen console (hopefully it’s not a hybrid like the “switch” and uses nvidia getorce gtx 1080 laptop gpu or a customized one and the “switch” could be pass off as a hand held device that works like a shield tablet k1).
