Nintendo UK Looks Back at Star Fox History
They go through all the previous games in virtual reality style. Star Fox 2 is absent, but what can you do?
Thanks to 17hockett for the heads up.

Star Fox 2 never released so it never really was part of Star Fox cannon. However I can understand why so many want the game to be.
It’s great that Nintendo are giving the whole series some attention. It’s also reassuring to see Krystal in the trailer.
star fox 2 wasn’t at and probably leak, but some did made way for the new star fox game on wii u.
after watching the video, is nice to see all the starfox games with graphical update through out the nintendo history, it gives that nintendo pride that nintendo has been alot over that years.
but where the person made the starfox arwing models showing some gameplay proabably got lazy and use the same thing for adventures to command.
I was just about to send this video through here as soon as I saw it, but someone already beat me to the punch. Either way, I like how every game is showcased here and that the GameCube games weren’t ignored like how they always seem to be as of late. I’m glad there’s at least some acknowledgement of them in here. Hopefully, they can get recognized more like this in the future.
It’s great that Nintendo is giving the Starfox series the love it needs and this trailer is a great way to remind us fans the history it has gone through the list of games we got. I’m even glad that they even acknowledged Adventures and Assault as it should be. Something tells me that Zero will do fine in sales since it is said that the game is going to target both newcomers of the series along with us old fans of the series.
Awsome trailer as always starfox is geting the attention it deserves after so long.
I notice they didn’t label the first two “Starwing” or “Lylat Wars”. Thank goodness. :)
I noticed that to.
I noticed on the still shot Nintendo did that too but I also noticed during the specific segments for each game they use the names Starwing and Lylat Wars. If you look on the bottom left corner the names appear for each game.
I was born in 1997, and I think the first Star Fox game of 1993 is MIND BLOWING. It’s weird. Even seeing Krystal for a brief second was good. (Even at the off chance that Krystal is no longer cannon, we can hope for a new female character we can fall in love with!)
I was born in 1993 the year starwing/starfox came out and I hope krystal returns if not in one form in another, the odds are if she dose return she’ll get one heck of a remodel.
Krystal is a canon character. If Platinum games are involved in the next Star Fox game she will be appearing. Even if they aren’t doesn’t mean she won’t appear in the next game. She is the main female character of the team and series so it’s unlikely she will be written off.
However right now I’m uncertain what the situation is with Krystal and Zero. When I emailed and asked Nintendo of Europe earlier this year the response I got was that Krystal isn’t featuring in Zero. Which doesn’t mean she won’t be in Zero. I have read that someone else emailed and asked and their response was that Krystal will be making a cameo appearance in Zero. Anyone can email and ask Nintendo about Krystal in Zero. On Nintendo’s website they have a contact page with their email on it for general questions. Next few days probably won’t be a good time to email them.
