Krystal Confirmed in Smash

She appears to be an assist trophy. And her Adventures outfit no less! She uses her staff to shoot energy blasts.
There you have it, folks. Krystal is in Smash Bros! Here's the original source video.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Returns All Previous Characters to Smash
Nintendo has just shown off their presentation of Smash Bros for the Switch. The main feature on display, aside from improved and streamlined gameplay mechanics, is that every character in the entire series that has ever been a fighter will be a playable fighter in this game. That means Wolf is back, along with about 70 other characters, plus variations and "Echo Characters". Oh, and Ridley from Metroid was announced too! That one was a surprise.
Fox, Falco, and Wolf all have had their appearance updated to match the Star Fox Zero style more. Also, the Landmaster has been permanently retired from Final Smashes. Instead Fox and Falco will feature an Arwing-based Final Smash. I don't know what Wolf's Final Smash is yet.
There will be more announcements and footage throughout the show. Sakurai said there aren't plans for many other additional characters, because 70 characters is a huge amount! So please don't get your hopes up for Krystal at this time.
The game releases December 7th, 2018! Preorder Now!
Star Link Boxart AND Other Star Fox Characters Confirmed

GoNintendo just posted some tentative boxart for the Switch version of Star Link, including the Star Fox materials.
According to GoNintendo's source (probably a press release), it seems that Star Fox characters other than Fox McCloud will appear in the game, though we don't know if they will be playable yet. The quote is:
Players can play through the entire campaign as Fox McCloud and embark on exclusive missions in Atlas featuring other friends from the Star Fox universe.

Ubisoft has revealed details of their Switch release for Star Link. The standard game will be $75. It will include a physical Arwing and Fox McCloud figurine. The Switch release also comes with the following.
- 1 Starlink Video Game
- 1 Zenith Starship
- 1 Mason Rana Pilot
- 1 Shredder Weapon
- 1 Flamethrower Weapon
- 1 Frost Barrage Weapon
- 1 Controller Mount
- 1 Poster
There are additional preorder bonuses and DLC for purchase. Preorders are open now!
Star Fox coming to Star Link: The Battle for Atlas!
In a surprise announcement during today's Ubisoft E3 presentation, the team behind Star Link: Battle for Atlas (announced last year), revealed cameo appearances by the Star Fox team, with playable Arwings and Star Fox characters (at least Fox McCloud).
Turns out, the team always wanted to get Star Fox in their game, and they managed to do it with Nintendo's.
Mr. Miyamoto made an appearance and was given a prototype Arwing and Fox figurine from the game's toys-to-life style components.
Star Link launches October 16th with Star Fox content coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch release.
Nintendo at E3 2018

It's E3 season, friends! Microsoft and some other companies have already had their reveals. Nintendo will be presenting their Nintendo Direct last, on Tuesday morning at 9AM Pacific (12PM Eastern), followed by three straight days of streaming games from the Treehouse. There will also be a Splatoon 2 tournament (on Monday afternoon) and a Smash Switch tournament right after the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday.
This year's announcements will prove to be very interesting, with lots of games expected to be on display including Super Smash Bros. for Switch, Metroid Prime 4, maybe the new main-line Pokémon games for Switch (not the Let's Go games, new ones for 2019), and VERY maybe, the next Star Fox game, which might just be that rumored racing game.
Be sure and join us on the Krystal Archive Discord Server to watch the streams live with all of us.
Edit: "Nintendo's E3 at 2018"?! Apparently I can't grammar when I'm tired.
Watch Livestream Krystal Commission on Thursday!

I commissioned RattyCreations a while back to do a Krystal fanart for me. I asked that she do Krystal in an Ōkami-like style that she's used before, like in this example, but otherwise, told her to "have fun." The image at the top of the post is a preview she sent. I don't know if she will be continuing it or doing something completely different. Whatever she does, she'll be streaming it tomorrow, live for all to enjoy!
Watch the stream with me on June 7th 2018 at around Noon (central time).
