Dylan Cuthbert On Stage With Google Stadia
Dylan Cuthbert, of Star Fox fame, minutes ago helped introduce some features of Google Stadia, Google's new streaming game platform. He talked about the ability to save and share game state so you can create interesting speed runs, saved moments, or save points. He finished by revealing that Q-Games, his company, will be building a huge game based on this concept.
The live-stream announcement is still going on right now. Watch it!
Unofficial Star Fox Adventures Soundtrack Re-released
Back around 2008, when I still ran Starfox-Online, I decided to play back through Star Fox Adventures and finally get a good recording of all the songs in the game. It took about a month of work, but I finally finished the most complete soundtrack for the game ever made, with 119 songs, jingles, and ambient tracks edited and released in high quality MP3.
Fast forward 10 years, and much of the work I did for Starfox-Online is simply gone, lost to time. So, what better way to start off the new StarFox.org than to release this gem?
Star Fox Adventures OST
There is a ton of info on that page about the recording process and the locations where each track can be found in the game (plus unused tracks). In the future, I think it may be possible to actually do a rip soundtrack, which should reveal even more tracks and at higher quality. For now, though, please enjoy the unique sounds of Star Fox Adventures.
Moonllita Krystal Cosplay
After several months of posting progress photos, Moonllita of MoonllitaCosplay has completed her Krystal cosplay. This one features a painted body suit with facial makeup, augmented with a tail belt and ear-containing wig. She made the staff, clothing, armor, and jewelry herself, making heavy use of Worbla Thermoplastic.
Moonllita plans to debut this cosplay at Otakuthon in Montréal, Canada from August 16th to 18th. She appears to have a photoshoot scheduled for that con too, so we should be seeing a lot more photos of this cosplay this summer.
Check out tons of progress shots of her work below. Also, you can watch her working on the Staff in a Facebook video.

She also posted an Instagram Story (top of the page titled "Krystal wip") with a story containing more progress photos like the dying process for the suit and tail fur.
Check out her Facebook page and Instagram page to follow her progress. Thanks to Moonllita for being patient with me. I got permission from her back in December to post this, but I never got around to it until today.
Old Fashioned Krystal Portrait Commission by Dracontiar
It's finally done! Dracontiar (aka Cynthia Conner) has finished a new Krystal commission of mine. In this one, what we were going for was one of those Old Master Portrait style paintings, where the subjects are shown sitting in repose, with a dignified posture and either a serious or slightly smiling facial expression. You know, stuff like the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci or Self-Portrait by Raphael. I think Dracontiar nailed it!
As is my tradition, the full resolution original of this piece is available for free download. Be sure to visit Dracontiar's post in her gallery and tell her how much you like it.
Valentine’s Day and Star Fox Assault Anniversary
Happy Valentine's Day! Also, Star Fox Assault is 14 years old today. Nothing like getting together with your worst enemies to play a decade old game, eh?
SchattenKitsune666 got in on the action and made this Valentine's Day MMD featuring part of the song Symphony ft Zara Larsson by Clean Bandit. Check it out!

Nintendo Direct Tomorrow
Nintendo announced a long-rumored Nintendo Direct to be tomorrow afternoon! The rumors are flying about what will be in this 35 minute presentation. Given that Retro Studios is now working on Metroid Prime 4, the rumor that we'll see the rumored Star Fox GP game, though that seems like more of an E3 game to me. Other expected things: Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch and more stuff about Smash DLC.
Furry Fiesta 2017 Ayano Footage from Lylat-Mobius Adventurer
Back in March 2017, Ayano Harumaki made her most recent public appearance at Furry Fiesta in Dallas, Texas. Vulpine Media, Lylat-Mobius Adventurer, and I were lucky enough to be in attendance, fully decked out with recording equipment and cameras.
It took a while, but Lylat-Mobius Adventurer has been able to edit, upload, and get Ayano's approval for his astounding 11 hours of footage! After editing, it's down to around 8 hours of footage, showcasing several costumes, locations, and times, spread across 6 different videos. In them, you'll get to see Ayano playing Nintendo Switch for the first time, her first public Zero Suit Samus costume reveal, and her interacting with a Fox McCloud cosplayer.
I was Ayano's driver to and from the hotel, so this footage contains many sections that my footage does not. Check it out!
The rest of the videos after the jump.

Rather than being a monthly podcast, the KAP seems to only come out once a year. Need to change that! The first in that effort: The Krystal Archive Podcast Episode 41, recorded January 9th.
In this audio-only podcast, I gave a year-in-review summary of everything in 2018. I then checked with how well the we did keeping promises and projects planned for 2018 (about 50%). Lastly, I went over goals for 2019.
Thanks for listening!
The Krystal Archive is 13 Years Old Today
Here we are, Krystal Fans. 13 years online, our lucky year! I don't really have much to say here, except that this site continues to be my longest running project in my life. It's been my pleasure to spend all this time with you and sharing the appreciation for our beloved blue vixen.
I plan to record a "Year in Review" podcast tonight or tomorrow. Much has happened, and I have lots of plans for 2019. A lot of those plans are getting delayed, thanks to real life, so I appreciate your patience.
Hey, fun facts! When the Krystal Archive launched on January 8th, 2006, it predated...
- Star Fox Command's announcement
- Pluto's downgrade to a dwarf planet
- All Anime Abridged Series
- The Nintendo Wii
- Any YouTube resolution higher than 320×240

Welcome to 2019
Happy New Year, everyone! 2018 was wild and crazy: a new Smash Bros with a Krystal trophy, Starlink, and too many stories and interesting projects to mention here. I'm particularly proud of the strides made with the site with more frequent posts and fanart every single day!
In 2019, I plan to do more. Daily news and fanart will be continued, as I'm able to do so. But also in 2019, I finally plan to officially launch StarFox.org, which will focus on showcasing official media and details from the Star Fox series, free from opinion, and less focused on fan works.
I hope you all have had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year celebration. I want to see all of you try just as hard to improve in your own lives in the coming year. Get started on those resolutions!
