Rather than speculate, I have a proposal. Other than the primaries (Mario, Link, Samus, etc), make the rest of the roster brand new fighters.
Nintendo's next console is revealed for the first time officially. Fully backwards compatible, it seems to be like the Switch, but better in every way!
